My experience with the Louisiana Department of Conservation and Energy has been one of the most meaningful milestones in my professional journey. Working in state government while balancing a full-time college course load has challenged me to grow in ways I never imagined. As an Administrative Coordinator, I manage and organize water well registration records, maintain accurate documentation, and help ensure important public records remain accessible and properly preserved. While these responsibilities require precision and attention to detail, they have also shown me that even the smallest tasks contribute to something much larger than myself.

One of the aspects I value most about this experience is the people I have the privilege of working alongside. As one of the younger professionals in the office, I am surrounded by experienced colleagues who have spent years building careers in public service. Many serve in senior-level positions with extensive responsibilities and institutional knowledge, and I consider it a privilege to learn from their leadership, professionalism, and dedication each day. Their mentorship, guidance, and willingness to share their experiences have helped me grow not only as a professional but also as a person. They have shown me the importance of integrity, accountability, collaboration, and approaching every responsibility with excellence.

Louisiana Legislative Auditor
My journey in Louisiana state government began with the Louisiana Legislative Auditor, a role that became much more than my first professional position - it became the foundation for everything that followed. As a college student, I was searching for an opportunity that would allow me to balance my education while gaining meaningful, real-world experience. The flexibility of this position allowed me to excel academically while developing the professional skills and confidence that would later open the door to my current role with the Louisiana Department of Conservation and Energy.

One of the most rewarding aspects of this experience was working in and around the Louisiana State Capitol. Whether delivering important documents, assisting employees throughout the Capitol, or supporting daily administrative operations, I found myself immersed in an environment rich with history, leadership, and public service. Walking the same halls where legislation is debated and policies are shaped gave me a unique appreciation for the people working behind the scenes to keep government moving forward. Every interaction became an opportunity to observe professionalism, build relationships, and learn from individuals whose careers were dedicated to serving the State of Louisiana.

As one of the youngest professionals in the workplace, I was surrounded by experienced auditors, attorneys, analysts, administrators, and legislative professionals whose knowledge and dedication inspired me to raise my own standards. Their mentorship helped me develop the confidence to communicate professionally, ask thoughtful questions, and embrace every opportunity to learn. Looking back, this position was more than an entry-level job - it was the beginning of my professional network and the experience that provided both the skills and credibility to advance my career in state government.

Whether pursuing law, business affairs, strategic communications, or opportunities within sports and entertainment, I understand the importance of building strong relationships, maintaining professionalism, and appreciating the work that happens behind the scenes. Career Goals
Following my early graduation in December of 2026, I plan to pursue a paralegal certification while preparing for law school. I am particularly interested in careers that combine legal knowledge, communication, public policy, and government relations.
I am seeking opportunities that will allow me to continue growing professionally while contributing to organizations that value integrity, collaboration, and service.
My ultimate goal is to build a career as an attorney focused on advocacy, strategic communication, and legal problem-solving. As well as a career working with sports and entertainment corporations behind the scenes and on screen.

Sports, Broadcasting & Digital Media
Sports have always been more than entertainment in my family. It has always been a way for us to connect, create memories, and support one another. That lifelong passion played a significant role in my decision to attend Louisiana State University. LSU's immersive game day culture and nationally recognized athletic tradition immediately made me feel at home while deepening my appreciation for the sports industry.

My interest extends beyond being a fan. I am fascinated by the business, communications, and storytelling that bring sports to life. Through my Political Communication studies, my passion has grown for sports broadcasting, journalism, public relations, social media, and business affairs.
​
To further develop these skills, I invested in my own Sony ZV-1F camera to document experiences through photography and video. Whether creating content about travel, campus life, networking events, or sporting events, I enjoy using digital media to tell authentic stories and connect with others.
​
One project especially meaningful to me has been documenting my younger brother's football journey. As he began attending college-hosted football camps, I brought my camera to capture his experiences, highlight his progress, and create footage he could later review to evaluate his strengths, identify areas for improvement, and continue developing both his athletic abilities and recruiting portfolio. Watching how media can support an athlete's growth reinforced my interest in the intersection of sports, business affairs, communications, and storytelling.

Looking ahead, I hope to combine my interests in law, strategic communications, and sports by pursuing opportunities within collegiate athletics, professional sports organizations, sports agencies, law offices, or the entertainment industry, where I can contribute both behind the scenes and in front of the camera.
